The Incredible Blessing of Friends

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.Proverbs 27:17

The past year, or couple of years, have been filled with hills and valleys and it is well with my soul! Praise be to you dear Jesus.  The Lord has my heart so heavy for my sweet friends who have been so loving to bear our burdens and what an honor it has been for us to bear their's.  As I use the word friends, I smile because that word is just not accurate enough sometimes, is it?  Family is often times more appropriate when describing these people close to you - those who accompanied you through feast, famine, and flames! Those who know your heart and love you unconditionally; those who have your back but will speak the truth in the greatest of love; those who laugh with you and cry with you; those who double the joy and half the sorrow; those who you can see every day or once a month and still feel abounding love.  Praise be to you Lord for the binding of love and the strengthening through trials! Thank you, Lord for our friends.  We love 'em dearly. The bumpy paths through life would be harder without ya and the joys of life would not be as great.
